Gruau Laval was awarded for its innovative "Home Delivery Solution" at Solutrans 2015. This solution optimizes delivery times for a variety of food products that require different temperature conditions during transport.

The vehicle features two cooling compartments: one for negative temperatures (down to -20 ºC) and another for positive temperatures close to 0 ºC (e.g., 4 ºC). The remaining cargo space is reserved for dry goods.

The system includes trolleys that hold plastic crates, eliminating the need to manually and individually load each crate into the vehicle. This significantly speeds up the loading and unloading processes. Empty crates, after unloading the goods, are placed at the front of the cargo area, ensuring that the full crates can be easily accessed from the rear doors.

This solution not only accelerates the loading of goods from the warehouse and their delivery to the customer but also maintains the proper temperatures for transported products. The system was demonstrated on an electric vehicle.
